Maynamati War Cemetery
Maynamati War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery located in the Comilla Cantonment area of Bangladesh. The cemetery is the final resting place for 736 Commonwealth soldiers who died during World War II, mostly from the Commonwealth nations of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
The cemetery is beautifully maintained and features neatly arranged headstones, flowers, and trees. The headstones bear the names, ranks, and regiments of the fallen soldiers, and some also include personal messages from their families.
